Whenever we produce an output (a document, PowerPoint, complex code, hardware, email) continuous improvement mindset encourages us to think of it as a milestone in a road map. At any point we are at a milestone and not at a destination.

Never switch off from the work (in mind). Be on a constant lookout until you

  1. find the next inspiration,
  2. see what competitors and have done,
  3. listen to what your users are saying.

One of these will tell us, clearly, the next milestone to reach. Start the journey immediately.

The cost of starting from inertia (starting afresh) is high compared to the being in slow motion and picking up speed.
